The Department of Management, Economics and Finance has been operating since October 1, 2019 and was established from the merger of the Department of Organization and Management, the Department of Finance and Accounting and the Department of Managerial Economics.

Currently, the Department employs 32 people: 6 independent research workers, 21 assistant professors, 4 assistants, 1 administrative employee.

The Department of Management, Economics and Finance conducts research focusing on the issue of New trends in organization management.

In particular, the following problems are addressed:

• challenges in human capital management and organizational leadership;
• entrepreneurship;
• modern corporate finance management;
• enterprise in the process of change;
• relationship capital management.

As part of their educational activities, the employees of the Department conduct classes in the following fields: management, logistics, tourism and recreation, management and service engineering, management and production engineering. In addition, they conduct classes at MBA, postgraduate, doctoral and international studies, as well as for Erasmus + students. 

The Department is the guardian of two specializations:

1. Business Management and ACC, implemented on the second degree of Management. Student research circles operate at the Department: Blank Canvas (supervisor: Dr. Andrzej Pawluczuk).
2. Student Research Group of Finance and Accounting “Winien Ma” (supervisor:  dr Anna Dyhdalewicz).
