New authorities of the Faculty of Management Engineering

Colleagues,

On September 1st this year, the 4-year term of office of the new authorities of our Faculty began, consisting of:

Prof. Joanna Ejdys, DSc, PhD, Eng. – Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Management

Julia Siderska, PhD – Vice Dean for Students Affairs and Education

Urszula Kobylińska, PhD – Vice Dean for Cooperation and Development

Katarzyna Czerewacz-Filipowicz, DSc, PhD, Assoc. Prof. – Director of the Institute of Management and Quality Science

I am extremely pleased to begin cooperation in such a composition of the Dean’s College, expressing my conviction that we will work together effectively for the good of the Faculty and all of you.

The following people will serve as heads of individual departments:

Prof. Joanna Moczydłowska, DSc, Phd – Head of the Department of Management, Economics and Finance;

Ewa Glińska, DSc, PhD, Assoc. Prof. – Head of the Department of Marketing and Tourism;

Wiesław Urban, DSc, PhD, Eng. Assoc. Prof. – Head of the Department of Production Management;

Katarzyna Halicka, DSc, PhD, Eng. Assoc. Prof. – Head of the International Department of Logistics and Service Engineering.

The Chairwoman of the Scientific Council of the Faculty of Engineering Management will be prof. Joanna Moczydłowska, DSc, PhD.

I would like the upcoming 4 years of our joint work to be a period of:

• continuous professional development of my colleagues measured by the number of degrees and titles obtained;
• implementation of new research and teaching projects;
• making our faculty educational offer more attractive in line with the challenges of the environment;
• caring for the well-being of our students – their needs and expectations;
• expansion of modern teaching and scientific infrastructure;
• internationalization of the Faculty’s activities and building a network of international contacts;
• building a positive image of the Faculty in the socio-economic environment as a reliable Partner for cooperation;
• conversations, meetings in a friendly atmosphere and mutual assistance;
• joint problem-solving and treating problems as challenges;
• sustainable development;
• joyful celebration of our successes.

I wish all of us for the coming 4 years that every dream, even the smallest, related to working for the Faculty and your own professional development will come true and be a source of satisfaction and great joy.
