Study visit to the Pronar company

On June 13, 2024, a study visit took place at Pronar Sp. z o. o., one of the leading Polish manufacturers of agricultural, municipal and recycling machines.

Students of management (IV sem.), specializing in Internet marketing in business, together with Ewelina Tomaszewska, Ph.D., visited the Pronar Exhibition Center in Siemiatycze.

The aim of the visit was to familiarize students with the latest technology and the company’s innovation in the field of production, as well as management and marketing. Pronar, as a pioneer in technology, is the initiator of many changes for the entire manufacturing industry.

The students were welcomed by Mr. Jacek Wakuluk, specialist for the Exhibition Center, who showed them around the facility and presented the history and offer of the company. As part of the study visit, students visited the modern Pronar Exhibition Center, which is a unique place in Europe presenting the company’s full portfolio. The permanent factory exhibition covers over 10 hectares, where agricultural, municipal and recycling machines can be seen, as well as components manufactured by Pronar. Visiting the exhibition and production areas in electric vehicles aroused enthusiasm among students.

The students also took part in a meeting with Ms. Sandra Snarska, marketing specialist. During the lecture, they learned not only about good practices in the implementation and promotion of innovative technological solutions, but also about the specifics of the agricultural machinery industry and the company’s marketing strategy, including examples of the marketing instruments used.

During the visit, the students showed high involvement, asked many questions and willingly participated in the discussion. Positive opinions and comments from students at the end of the study visit proved the educational value of the meeting and the opportunity to gain practical experience.

Study visits are a valuable complement to the teaching process. The coordinator of the trip to the Pronar Exhibition Center was Ewelina Tomaszewska, Ph.D.,  from the Department of Marketing and Tourism. The visit was organized as part of the Via Carpatia project, named after President Lech Kaczyński.
