19-10-2023

On October 18th of this year, a local summit promoting the results of the “Remote Student Monitoring Framework for Securing Exams” (RSMF) project took place at the Faculty of Engineering Management. The main objective of the project was to develop and test an IT tool for verifying student identities and monitoring their behavior during remote exams. The project was funded through the Erasmus+ Program, under KA220-HED – Cooperation partnerships in higher education. The project consortium, led by Bialystok University of Technology, includes the following members:

  • The Neapolis University of Paphos (Cyprus)
  • University of Piraeus Research Center (Greece)
  • Unimed – Unione Delle Universita Del Mediterraneo (Italy)
  • Enoros Consulting Ltd. (Cyprus)

The hybrid meeting was attended by 46 people on-site and 67 people remotely. The participants represented three stakeholder groups: academic teachers, students, and administrative staff. Representatives from the following universities from the region and the country participated in the meeting: University of Bialystok, Bialystok School of Economics, The Medical University of Bialystok, Lublin University of Technology, Lodz University of Technology, University of Gdansk, Warsaw University of Technology, University of Economics in Katowice, Jagiellonian University, University of Lodz, and Gdynia Maritime University.

The meeting aimed to disseminate three results of the RSMF project:

R1. Accreditation Monitoring Framework for Securing Remote Exams

R2. Remote Exams Guide book for Higher Education

R3. Remote Student Monitoring Platform

The meeting with representatives from other universities also provided an excellent opportunity to discuss potential areas of collaboration and the possibility of jointly applying for Erasmus+ projects.

On behalf of the entire project team and the Faculty of Management Engineering authorities, we thank all participants for their active involvement in the event and look forward to fruitful cooperation in the future.
