A meeting closing the EGD4Cities project

On 23 and 24 August 2022, in Palermo, Italy, in the seat of one of PRISM partners, a meeting closing the EGD4Cities (European Green Deal for Cities) project took place.

The project aimed to develop training materials for the employees of various levels of local governments concerning the implementation of the European Green Deal. Apart from representatives of Bialystok University of Technology, representatives of all partner institutions (Kokkalis Foundation from Greece, ENOROS Consulting from Cyprus, The Rural Group from Ireland, Burgas Municipality from Bulgaria, PRISM from Italy) were present. The Faculty of Engineering Management was represented by Joanna Godlewska, PhD, Eng, and Prof. Joanna Ejdys, DSc, PhD, Eng, and the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences was represented by Assoc. Prof. Elżbieta Broniewicz, DSc, PhD, Eng.

The aim of the meeting was to discuss the results of the project available on the Virtual Think Tank | Egd4cities website. The website also offers e-learning courses on implementation of European Green Deal priorities in local government units.
