The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) – is one of the world’s largest professional organizations. It associates more than 360,000 members in 175 countries. In certain countries, there are National Sections, for example Polish Section of IEEE. As the part of the National Sections individual societies organize themselves into chapters and students branches.
In 2013, the group of employees of the Faculty of Management, Bialystok University of Technology initiated the establishment of the Polish Chapter of IEEE Technology Management Council. The first and current Chair of IEEE Poland Section Technology Management Council Chapter is Prof. Joanicjusz Nazarko.
IEEE Technology Management Council was renamed to IEEE Technology and Engineering Management Society. The following issues of science and management practices are in the area of its interests:
