The Department of Production Management<\/strong> was formed in 2006 as a result of the reorganisation of the then existing Department of Production Engineering; The Department is headed by Prof. Wies\u0142aw Urban. The Department is made up of a team of 18 people, including 4 professors, 9 assistant professors, 4 research assistants and 1 administrative worker. They are members of many international and national committees, associations and scientific institutions. The results of their researches are published in international scientific journals and presented during numerous scientific conferences all over the world.<\/p>\n

Research and scientific profile<\/div>\n

The scientific and research activity of the Department is related to widely understood production management including technical, economic and social aspects.  The didactic activity of the Department is mainly related to the course of Management and Production Engineering and Furniture Engineering. The department staff also teach at other faculties as well as at other departments of the Bialystok University of Technology.<\/p>\n
