The International Department of Logistics and Service Engineering<\/strong> was established at the Faculty of Engineering Management (Bialystok University of Technology) in October 2019 as a result of the merger of the International China and Central-Eastern Europe Institute of Logistics and Service Science and the Department of Economic Informatics.<\/p>\n

\n
Research and scientific profile<\/div>\n

The research activity of the Department includes, among others, issues in the field of logistics management, global supply chains, foresight, management and service engineering, management information systems, logistics systems and economic forecasting.<\/p>\n

The activities of the Department include educating Polish and Chinese students on the basis of a double diploma agreement as well as all students from other countries; organization of summer schools for students and employees; exchange of research and teaching staff (visiting professors) and students; organization of scientific conferences and seminars; joint application for research and teaching grants; developing and publishing joint scientific and didactic works as well as other forms of scientific and didactic activity. The International Department of Logistics and Service Engineering is the leading unit for education at the Faculty of Management Engineering in the fields of 1st degree logistics and 2nd degree logistics.<\/p>\n
